Finally found a solution to keep most of my shoes without clutter up the space. Clear Vinyl Divided Underbed Shoe chest from The Container Store, cost only US$15. Half of our shoes sleep peacefully under our bed now and left only some of them in the storage with the IKEA komplement Shoe Organizer.

Red date filling with salted duck yolk mooncake! Oh-my-god!! My very first and only one homemade mooncake IS good (according to J). J did ask me to give up but I insisted to made this filling though I spent almost an hour just to peel and sieve it. Not to mention the time to make the outer shell/crust and baking. What a hard work but all worth it.

Food we made/had in this long weekend. Thanks J for the oi sum pancakes and noodle.

After saw MTW blog, J requested to go to this farm, too. She acted exactly like a kid (of course I mean cute). She almost wanted to kill that boy who rode on the pig in front of her while taking the picture. That boy didn't want to leave even though we've been waited minutes and his mom kept asking him to go away. darn boy.

J finally decided to get this laptop. Crocodile brown is so much better than pink. People who got the pink, must be thinking that they are Paris Hilton.

Got my new toy, Magic Blue, which has been sold out in all the Canadian Tire in Richmond. We had to go to the one on Cambie and 4th. And this is the last one!

Thanks everyone for coming to warm our lounge room! Thanks Fa and Gloria helped out for setting things up. And thanks guys to pickup the take-out (sushi from Sushi House, churh's chicken, fried rice and noodle from E-canteen), and we all love the wines that Za and Kenny brought. J went back to Coquitlam to have dinner with her mom and will be back tomorrow evening. So this is the first time that we are in the same city but not in the same place. And hate that being home alone while feeling sick, caught a cold from J. The medicine that I took think is quite strong, always feel like overdosed. Anyways, we got few things done in these 2 days: pick up 9 parcels (7 boxes of J's collections, 1 from Amazon, 1 from Eugenie), get the energy save light bulbs (wish this could save us some $$), unpack J's 2 huge luggages of clothes (which I DID! while J couldn't take her eyes off the Olympic), and sell the shoe organizer (finally)! Next mission we want to do is to find the best deal of pot set and water kettle, and figure out the way to display J's collections.

I wonder will I get a chance to meet J's mom before she left. Hmmm...seriously, this is a huge deal and really panic me so much (for months). I really do want to meet her as a J's girlfriend, but I am not sure is this going to be the right timing, or not, especially when you know they are not accepting you, yet. *sigh

J is coming back tonight! She is moving back for good!!

We haven't got our sofa yet. It won't be coming until September, boo. Anyway, we will invite some friends over to warm the house on August 28, Thursday night. Will rent the Lounge/Media Room from 6 to 11pm. Hopefully the weather will get more sunny (been quite chilly these few days) so then we can use the pool as well.

Went to Terra Nova's farm on Friday morning. School had an "Iron Chef" competition between the pastry and culinary. We, pastry, won, of course. This will be on Shaw TV but I have no idea when it is.

After the school event, went to Yaletown to get the sink caddy then shopped around in downtown. Tried out this famous Japanese style hotdog which quite pricey (ranged between $3.50-$5) but yum. Next time I want to try their Jalapeno hotdog.

Anyway, I will start to tidy up my kitchen this weekend (really), get some pots maybe. Also finish up the balcony and bathroom, and assembly the dining table.

Miss J so much, especially when weather is turning cold, my cold feet need warmth from honey.

Yes, finally get to update the blog. Was too busy with projects and finals. This coming Friday will be the first day of my one month break, yay. I'll start my practicum in first week of September until December @ Chambar. Hopefully can get a job there after that, have my fingers crossed. Anyway, been living alone almost a month. Still have no pots, plates, sofa, etc yet. So I spend most of the time in the room and eat out. Also, finally drag my lazy butts out to the kitchen to organize the new stuffs that still in boxes. Love my red mixer so much, really can't wait to use it and also the bread proofer.

Finally get our wireless internet set up!!

Busy, busy. I've no time/internet to post updates lately because I've incredibly busy. Lots planned for this weekend, too. There are few things done by now: the internet, the deck, the laundry, the garbage bin, the fridge (finally figured out how to get it works), the grocery. Also, there are few new things in house, I bought myself a lovely red KitchenAid mixer from Costco, got a pretty good deal; and thanks to my agent who bought us a nice 5.5-cup rice cooker, yay.

I am at bro's for dinner today. I think I will come back more often, especially I know there are food and internet haha. Oh well I haven't figure out how to turn on the refrigerator, yet. I really do need help, can't deal with things that are too complicated. Argh

I bought the dining table. It will come in 2-3 weeks! Let's countdown.

I am at bro's home right now, finally get the chance to go online. I didn't go disappear again, just that I don't have the internet yet in my new place. J went back to TO on Saturday night. Miss her so much and wish she could be here (to help me organize ALL my clothes and shoes). It took me a month to pack all those, I wonder how long it'll take to unpack them. Oh well. So here are the things we've done in the past few days:
1. Assembled the bed frame + headboard/drawers (this took the whole night. Thanks bro)
2. Set up the closet + storage (spent the whole Saturday for this. Bravo! bro)
Because of all the hard work, we can enjoy the limited space efficiently. YaY

First night @ 902, we realized that we need to change the blinder to curtain or something else to block the lights completely. And there's someone who loves playing piano in the midnight for hours. I am trying to figure out which floor it is. So if this continuously happen for a week, I might form a complaint. Another thing is, the garbage disposal is far! It takes us minutes from waiting the elevator, walking pass the parking lot, the disposal is in the hidden room right beside the main parking entry. I guess we might need a bigger garbage bin eh. Besides all these, so far so good. I love the balcony, can't wait it turns into a blossom garden. I love the modern wall tile in the bathroom. I love the huge fridge. I love the mattress we bought. Love the closet, although it won't be the one in Sex and the city, this is perfect enough for us.

Done packing? Still in progress after started 2 weeks ago. Oh my gosh, don't know why it takes me forever to pack the things ONLY in my room. This is really killing me. Hmmm I am thinking maybe too much breaks in between? (every 20 minutes/break). But I can't help it! By the way, I want to announce that: closet, clear. Cabinet, clear. Drawers, clear. Sideboard, clear. Now, I am trying to clear out the stuffs in my bathroom. Yes!! I can see the progressing is really going well. Thanks Honey for helping.
